Introducing the upgraded weld-on lip shroud 16205
Combi Wear Parts expands the ProTect range with the upgraded weld-on lip shroud 16205 — developed to deliver enhanced bucket lip protection, improved wear distribution and extended service life in demanding applications.
Designed for bucket lips in the 75–90 mm range, the new 16205 features an optimized geometry and an extended length of 540 mm, providing greater coverage compared to the previous model.
Enhanced protection and longer service life
The 16205 has been engineered to help reduce wear-related downtime while maximizing bucket lip durability. The updated design improves protection across exposed lip areas and contributes to more even wear distribution during operation.
Broad system compatibility
The new lip shroud is compatible not only with the C-REX system, but also with most industry-standard systems, including side-pin solutions such as the J-Series. This enables flexible integration across different bucket configurations and mixed fleets.
Flexible installation
The shrouds can be cut to the required length to fit between adapters, allowing for optimized fit and coverage based on the application. For secure attachment and optimal performance, installation should follow the recommended welding procedure in the ProTect Installation Handbook.
Available from June 2026
The weld-on lip shroud 16205 is now available for order, with deliveries starting in June 2026. As part of this product upgrade, the previous 16204 model will gradually be phased out and replaced by the new 16205.
