Entrack AS reaches 100 C-REX conversions in Norway
Combi Wear Parts’ Norwegian distributor Entrack AS has reached an important milestone with over 100 conversions to C-REX. With customers reporting lower operating costs, improved productivity and reduced downtime, the achievement reflects growing demand for the system in the Norwegian market.
When Entrack AS introduced C-REX to the Norwegian market around three years ago, many customers in the construction and quarrying industries were looking for ways to improve productivity and reduce operating costs. Today, Entrack AS has completed more than 100 conversions across Norway, with its Bergen branch accounting for over 60 of them.
According to Øyvind Hope, Aftermarket Sales Representative, from Entrack AS the success comes down to a combination of market demand, dedicated sales efforts and close cooperation with Combi Wear Parts.
“From the beginning, we received great support from Combi Wear Parts. Pelle Kristensson has been actively involved, joining customer visits and helping us demonstrate the benefits of C-REX.”

Measurable results – lower costs and increased productivity
One conversion that stands out involved a CAT 395 excavator operated by Romarheim Entreprenør. By introducing C-REX and optimizing the bucket configuration, including tooth positioning, spacing and angles, the customer reported significant improvements:
- Approximately 10% lower fuel consumption.
- Increased productivity.
- Easier tooth replacement.
- 78% reduction in tooth wear costs, from NOK 2.02 (EUR 0.19) to NOK 0.43 (EUR 0.04) per tonne of produced rock.
“That’s a substantial difference when you’re working with large production volumes. But it’s important to understand that we didn’t just change the tooth system. We also made adjustments to the bucket to optimize the complete solution,” explains Øyvind.

More than just a tooth system
According to Øyvind, customer feedback consistently highlights three key advantages of C-REX: excellent penetration, long tooth service life and strong adapters with a precise fit. However, achieving the best possible results often requires looking beyond individual wear parts.
“Today, we’re not just selling a tooth system. We’re looking at the complete bucket – the number and positioning of teeth, wear protection and other components – to find the best possible solution for each customer.”
Together with Combi Wear Parts, Entrack AS also follows up with customers to evaluate wear patterns, assess performance and identify opportunities for further improvements.
Growing demand for C-REX
With more than 100 conversions completed, Entrack AS is now seeing customers actively request C-REX when ordering new buckets.
“We’re starting to see the market pull the product rather than us having to push it. Customers are asking for C-REX, and the system has become a recognized name in the Norwegian market,” says Øyvind.
The milestone reflects not only the growing demand for C-REX, but also the value of combining high-performance wear parts with application expertise and close customer cooperation.
