Hear, in his own words, how their commitment to quality and a strong partnership with Combi Wear Parts have driven their success, even amidst intense competition in the Asian market.
I am Elmer Parreñas, the President and CEO of Shorr Industrial Sales, Inc., a renowned dealer and exclusive distributor of Combi Wear Parts in the Philippines. As a second-generation businessman, I have continued the legacy of my parents who established the business in 1982 and have been partners with Combi Wear Parts since the Overum / Bofors / Componenta days.
My father, Edmundo, a seasoned industry professional, was a sales manager for Ekman and Company, AB before becoming the Philippine distributor of Bofors / Componenta Wear Parts. Our enduring partnership with Combi Wear Parts is a testament to their exceptional quality products and unwavering support. Despite facing tough competition from China in the Asian market, we prioritize quality over quantity for our mining and construction customers in the Philippines.
Thanks to our partnership with Combi Wear Parts, our company has evolved from a GET distribution company to the leading bucket manufacturing company in the Philippines. With a dedicated team of 120 employees across 5 branches nationwide, we have experienced significant growth and success in the industry.
One notable instance of our collaboration with Combi Wear Parts was when we assisted a customer in Cebu who was experiencing breakages with our Combi GET. Through consultations with Sacha from Combi, we were able to identify the issue and provide a customized heavy-duty system that met the customer’s specific needs, ensuring efficient hauling of ore and minimizing breakages.
